Week end has come to Yamashiro too, and even our fighters need to chill out in these days!

What are you going to do? There's a couple of people here who might want to share their stories while you're thinking about it!

Orora

Little is known about Orora, the most cheerful of the team.

Although really talkative, she hadn't shared anything about her past nor her desires to anyone. Sometimes, she looks absent, like she's thinking about something really important... but then she'll smile at you, making your feel warmer.

Interested in dancing, she does it at dawn, when no one can see her...

Which one do you prefer?

Oyes

Daughter and wife, Oyasu lost her life while traveling home. Her soul trapped in this world as her father was suffering so much, Oyasu turned into a Yuki Onna in order to do everything it was needed to help him.

Now her mission is complete, yet she can't detach herself from this world... as if she felt that a new, greater mission, awaits.

Oyasu has so many drawings done in so many different styles, which is your favorite?

The Chosen One is closer every day

The Tengu leader in the end told us what he gave to the Chosen One...

Although the Scarf was a really nice option too!

Another piece to fit the puzzle! We're really close to have the her whole picture!

The Tengu leader told us that a shaman might be able to help us with our mission, so we headed to his cave, which is not too far from Yamashiro's domain.

"Yes, it is true, I can help you - the shaman quietly speaks, while inhaling smoke - I can lead you to dream and see a detail of her. But just one."

It sounds risky, but we have no other choice.

While we feel our bodies surrender to Morpheus, a faded image slowly comes to our mind, becoming clearer by the second... it's something connected with her arms!

The Chosen One meets someone we know!

Good day fighters!

Do you remember that some days ago we encountered a Tengu clan while we were gathering informations about the Chosen One? 

That clan wasn't a coincidence! Among all the fighters that have come to Yamashiro to know more about what's going on, a female Tengu came too!

Meet Aki!

Aki

Born and raised within the clan, Aki knows little about the human world. Before everything started, she used to have fun in the woods all day with her best friend, her loyal momonga called Kuri, without worrying about anything else. However, deep inside her, the desire of distinguish herself from the rest of the clan was really strong.

One day, she saw a girl with white hair trapped in the snow, with her face suffering in pain. Aki has seen nothing like that before, and even if her heart screams in terror, she decided to approach this strange human being.

And here’s how she looked back in Daimyo’s Fall:

What we saw in our dreams is undeniable: we saw the harmony bracers!

We kindly take our leave from the shaman, with another important detail with us.

A pink haired ninja girl, with bright eyes, a hood and bracers… Although the image is starting to getting clearer, we definitely need something more.

We need to head to Eri Muramasa’s forge, as we need some new weapons too (it's dangerous to go alone!).

“Hello everyone - Eri is there, working on a new katana - apologies, but I’m a bit shaken today.”

As we ask why to her, she explains herself:

“You might already know that the Chosen One is roaming through the Land. And indeed… I meet her this morning. I didn’t have the chance to see her, but I hear her footsteps. And those were dreadful. I can tell by those footsteps that she was wearing…”

She stops, hesitating a bit.

What was she wearing?

Rain over Yamashiro

The sound of the rain falls gently on Yamashiro, leading the fighters to stop their training waiting for the sun to come out again.

While chilling out a bit, they have a moment to share their stories and desires.

"What lead you here, Lord Nobuyuki?"

Umeka asks gently, as she looks over the young man who has lost himself in watching the raindrops falling down from the sky.

Nobuyuki Sanada

Elder brother of the legendary Yukimura Sanada, Nobuyuki was attracted by the news surrounding the mystery of the fallen Daimyo and the incredible treasure that he might have left behind. 

Always positive and high-spirited, he suffers a bit for the distance of his betrothed, who decided to travel throughout Japan and report her different paths on paper. Despite his complete support, sometimes he'd like to have her by his side. 

And just when he arrived to Yamashiro, someone told him that she was seen there just the day before everything started...

Tenzen of Iga

Nobuyuki has a loyal shadow with him, Tenzen, his most trusted attendant. His attitude is the opposite of the one of his master, yet there's a undeniable tuning between them. 

Although an inner part of him still craves for revenge for the decimation of his clan, he decided to seek peace and stillness, but... 

A meeting with someone from his past might change everything he planned for his life.

The Chosen One is under the rain too

The friendly priest is very grateful to each of you! No hesitation, the look in her eyes was absolutely bright! 

So far, what we know about this chosen one is that she's a ninja (or she wants to make us believe she's a ninja), she has long pink hair and she has a bright look. Her image is becoming clearer, but we need to dig some more if we want to fully recognize her!

There's a Tengu clan in the forests not too far from the temple, and the leader sent us a crow with a message. They heard we're looking for the Chosen One, and they want to help us.

The forest is thick and mazy, but here they are! The Tengu leader is scary yet hospitable.

"The Chosen One was here, looking for our blessing. She proved herself worthy, so we chose to give her something as a token of our protection. If you'll be able to spot this gift, then you'll know she's the one you're looking for."

A gift done by them... what might it be?

Getting to know our Heroes!

Hello everyone!

Another day went through on Yamashiro, but the inhabitants of the Domain quite realized that they haven't introduced themselves properly, so today we'll focus on meeting a couple of them! 

Today stars are Umeka and Gurin!

Umeka

Daughter of a No actor, Umeka lived her childhood with her traveling clan across Japan with only her masks to comfort her. Each of her mask had a story, yet she was so focused on writing those stories, that she forgot how to develop her own personality. 

With the help of her adopted sister Gurin, however, she managed to find her true self, and now she's training herself more and more in order to get into the castle of Yamashiro and find the truth behind Yamashiro's curse.

Do you have an idea about her favourite mask?

Gurin

Left under a willow, Gurin's blood was abandoned as a child because her blood wasn't red, but green. 

Umeka's father found her while he was returning from a show, and couldn't help but bring her home with him. Despite her disturbing feature, she soon became an important part of the clan, becoming really closer to Umeka day by day. 

She decided to accompany her sister into the journey that might unveil what's going on and... who knows, maybe she'll be able to discover something about her origins too.

Keep an eye on them, as I've heard that they're teaming up with some other girls to make something... strange. Stay tuned!

New Stretch Goal: Tsubaki Koihime!

Left behind because of her heritage, Tsubaki is the daughter of one of the most trusted advisers of the fallen daimyo. Disgrace fell upon her and all her family when her mother was covered by a huge scandal at court, so she later decided to change her surname and to live with no connection to her family. 

She now owns a little apothecary and lives quite happily, but there’s something swelling inside her… and that’s something that doesn’t match her beauty. 

The Chosen One is in the area!

Last time a lot of you tried to help the shop owner with his memory, and now he got it! The hair of the Chosen One were long and pink! No mistake! 

While we were asking in the area if someone saw her again, we got some rumors that she might have visit the Ise temple. It looks like she's troubled and is now looking for some comfort in meditation.

As soon as we reached the temple, we were welcomed by a friendly priest, who was very anxious to share some informations.

"Yes, I saw her! But her aura is magical, and she has the power to erase herself from the memories of the people she encounters."

Ah! That's why the shop owner forgot the color of her hair! 

"So, I'm sorry, I won't be able to tell you her appearance, because I wasn't ready to protect myself from her power... yet, I have to say that her eyes... her expression... were so particular... I can grasp that, if you  help me."

Here's our mission! Use your ninja techniques and help the friendly priest!

Hiroko Kuroyama

Victim of an unknown curse, Hiroko is bond forever with a transient presence inside her. 

At first she tried everything to bring things back to normal, but then she realized that this new presence… is somewhat comforting. Teaming up with this entity, Hiroko is now determined to keep exploring the sea of souls and reach the secret behind Yamashiro's demise.

Teostrato, He Who Defies Gods

An European alchemist that has reached Japan lured by the rumors about the curse that is fallen over the land of Yamashiro. 

Wielding the power of the Philosopher's Mercurius, he seeks the lost magic of the Rising Sun, pursuing obscure goals.

Okiku, Chunin of Iga

Raised since a child to be a perfect ninja, Okiku now has gained the chunin title. 

Proud and happy, her life has been fragmented by the kidnapping of Koke, her cat friend.
The authors of the crime are shrouded in mystery, yet Okiku can’t just sit and wait.
